Religious Education for Children
To ensure the best Catholic formation possible for our children, the Cathedral is teaming up with local parishes in the Fort Wayne area. We do not currently have religious education classes on site at the Cathedral. However, we are bringing back Religious Education for the 2025/2026 school year with a new program from Augustine Institute.
We are currently seeking catechists for the new program. If you would like to volunteer as a catechist, click HERE to access the volunteer form. For more information on enrolling your child in Religious Education or volunteering as a catechist, please contact

Safe Environment
The Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend requires that all clergy, seminarians, and employees complete the Safe Environment Training Program regardless of their level of contact with children. All diocesan volunteers who will have regular contact with children or young people must also complete the Safe Environment Training Program.

Our Parish has a subscription to Formed.org which some compare to a "Catholic Netflix". It is an online database of top-of-the-line Catholic catechetical materials. Formed.org offers the Catholic Faith on demand with many wonderful movies, spiritual books and audio books, study programs, Bible studies and more for the whole family. You can also search for “Formed” in your favorite app store. You can use it at home, on the go or from any internet connected device.

· Go to formed.org/signup Select Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception parish.
· Register with your name and email address.
· Check that email account for a link to begin using FORMED.
